BMW at The O2

BMW UK has joined forces with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) to become the official Automotive Founding Partner for The O2, the UK’s highest grossing and largest entertainment venue in Europe. On 24 June 2007 The O2 in Greenwich, London opened its doors to the public for the very first time. This groundbreaking new music, sports and entertainments facility is destined to be a huge success and, as the Automotive Founding Partner, BMW is set to share in that success.

The O2 is a unique entertainment destination featuring the first purpose-built music venue in London since The Royal Albert Hall in 1871. Underneath its iconic roof lies an impressive mix of state-of-the-art leisure facilities, from the breathtaking O2 arena to the intimate indigO2 live music club, an 11-screen cinema and The O2 bubble exhibition centre.

Our partnership with The O2 is a prime example of our desire to reach new audiences and extend the appeal of the BMW brand. The benefits to be gained from this new venture extend well beyond traditional sponsorship and branding. The dynamic venue offers a versatile canvas to launch new products and engage in a multitude of media and event initiatives.

The O2 features significant BMW branding and signage as well as showcasing BMW products. BMW is also the title sponsor of the VIP entrance and walkway as well as a welcome feature in the main Entertainment District.
