Major Events Volunteering Programme

  • Are you a resident of the London Borough of Greenwich?
  • Are you currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week?

If you can answer yes to both of the questions above then why not consider becoming a volunteer with us at the Major Events Volunteering Programme at The O2.

The programme is looking for people from 16 years of age upwards to volunteer at our not for profit events which are held at The O2.

The programme enables those who may be looking to build on skills and experience for future employment, but also those who may have time on their hands because of redundancy, retirement or health grounds, to volunteer in an exciting venue on a range of events.

There is a compulsory training programme of 4 days usually run over 2-3 weeks which involves orientation as well as customer service and health and safety. Certificates will be provided on completion of the training for future employers, further education or volunteering organisations.

All applicants will have to register with Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB).
