As well as showing the public just how entertainment should be done, AEG is equally committed to transforming corporate life across the globe. The O2 arena is an immense space but the possibilities of how businesses can use it are endless thanks to the unbeatable sound and lighting facilities, handy draping system, changeable flooring and of course, the imagination, enthusiasm and productivity of our committed team. Since opening we have put together events as varied as the BP Parry Helios Awards, Lloyds TSB "Stars In Their Eyes" gala, and the RFU Rugby World Cup dinner for the England team. The O2 arena can provide break out rooms both within the auditorium and Level 1 concourse area. The O2 arena is a magnificent multi-use venue that can be utilised to stage an ever lengthening list of shows and events. To date, our technical team have created the perfect environment for productions as diverse as Led Zeppelin, Prince, Spice Girls, Take That, 50 Cent, WWE (wrestling), NHL (hockey), NBA (basketball), Supercross (motorcycling), Disney on Ice, War of the Worlds and The Scout's Centenary celebrations. But whatever the event our ethos remains the same; to provide an unrivalled experience for the fan, promoter and performer. This means an auditorium with perfect sight-lines, flawless sound, comfortable cushioned seating, wide concourses between aisles, quality food and drink concessions, 548 toilets, variable standing and seating configurations and a superb backstage set-up (with simple load-in and rigging systems, an on-site media centre and spacious dressing rooms). We continue to fine tune this experience to push our standards even higher.. and leave our competitors further behind. The O2 arena tailor made auditorium configurationThe O2 is proud to be launching a more intimate experience in The O2 arena, with the introduction of a draping system that will mask level four seating. The drape will be hung from the roof and can be lowered in sections to black out part or the whole of level 4. The new configuration will give extra confidence and enhanced opportunities to event organisers, and production companies and enable conferences to take place in the worlds most successful venue but on a more intimate level. Seated capacities can range from 1,000 - 8,200 with this draping system. This new configuration gives you flexibility and space to up-size, as your delegates grow year on year.
