The UK's most innovative band of 2008 - The Sun
As far as burgeoning British bands go, it doesn't get any better than this - Kerrang
The multi-dimensional talent that is 65daysofstatic will begin their UK tour this April, hitting audiences with nine nights of apocalyptic grandeur. This ferocious band came onto the scene with their debut album ?The Fall of Math? in September 2004, which John Peel heralded as ?One of the most talked about albums of the moment? and since then have been gate-crashing genres and redefining boundaries, gracing the nation with an intense marriage of rendered sheet metal guitar crescendos, drum ?n bass rhythms and electronic schizophrenia. No doubt new EP ?Dance Parties (Distant and Mechanised)? out on the 7th April 2008 on Monotreme records, will carve yet another path for all to follow.
The 65daysofstatic Oct 2007 UK tour finished with a sold out show at Camden?s Electric Ballroom, with special guests Youthmovies and Tired Irie. By special request, this year the band will be supporting The Cure on their European/Scandinavian and US tours, including shows at Wembley Arena, Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.
The band has had a fascinating rise to fame and the guarantee for this tour from these utterly peerless artists is yet another set of astounding sell-out shows.
