Nas + 2 Chainz

Nas + 2 Chainz

After performing three sold out shows in London, multi-platinum recording artist Nas will be back in the UK on Tuesday 19 March 2013 to take over The O2 with support from 2 Chainz and Iggy Azalea. This will be the first time Nas has performed at our venue and it's sure to be the hottest ticket in town.
Although Meek Mill was originally due to join Nas at the show, Georgia born 2 Chainz is currently hip hop’s most in demand artist and well deserving of that spot in the line-up. Signed to Def Jam in 2012, 2 Chainz has worked on tracks with Nicki Minaj, Tyga, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and continues to record with the biggest names in the industry.

Australian native Iggy Azalea is on the road to big things this year and recently gave British fans a glimpse of her talent when supporting Rita Ora on her Radioactive tour.

Apologies to all the Meek Mill fans, we hope you’ll be just as excited with 2 Chainz and Iggy Azalea being added to the bill.

Following the recent release of his top 10 UK album Life Is Good, demand is high for New York rapper Nas. The album marks Nas' sixth #1 album in the U.S and has spawned his current single Cherry Wine featuring Nas' personal friend Amy Winehouse. It was this friendship that led Nas to make the decision to donate £1 from every ticket sold from this concert to the Amy Winehouse Foundation - set up in Amy's memory to support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad.
Mitch Winehouse has said: "Nas has announced that £1 from every ticket sold for his London concert taking place at The O2 on 19th March 2013 will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Amy and Nas had a special relationship and he will also be at our New York Gala event on 21st March 2013. The donation of £1 per ticket will help us continue our support of disadvantaged young people, and we at the Foundation very much appreciate this magnificent gesture".
