After a show stealing debut last year, the Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig is back with a bang! NME are proud to announce that The Cure are set to celebrate being crowned Godlike Geniuses at next year's Shockwaves NME Awards by headlining the annual Big Gig on 26 February 09 at The O2.

A full line up for the Big Gig has been announced:
The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, Crystal Castles and White Lies will be performing on stage.

To keep the party going from 10.30pm, matter will host a special aftershow party featuring the Filthy Dukes Live + Club NME DJ's, Jeff Automatic and Micky Four.
