Tina Turner 11 MARCH POSTPONED

TINA TURNER HAS FLU - HER DATE AT THE O2 IS POSTPONED

Tina Turner has been forced to reschedule her fifth show at The O2 arena on Wednesday 11 March.

Tina has contracted respiratory Flu and doctors advised her to take 6 days rest to fully recover. The London O2 arena date will now be on Sunday 3 May.

A spokesperson for Tina Turner commented: "Tina always wants to give one hundred percent and has been overwhelmed by the reaction from her UK fans at the gigs last week. She regrets this decision to postpone and the inconvenience to all those fans with tickets but wants to make sure each concert she does is memorable for everyone".

Concert promoters Marshall Arts ask ticket holders for The O2 to please retain their tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Those unable to attend can get refunds from the point of purchase from Monday 16 March 2009 through to Monday 6 April 2009.

With sensual, soulful and powerful vocals that have been part of music history for over four decades, the singer’s explosive live set will include everything from early career singles “River Deep Mountain High,” “Proud Mary,” and “Nutbush City Limits” through solo superstar smashes “Let’s Stay Together,” “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, “We Don’t Need Another Hero” and “The Best” as well as ‘90s comeback hits such as “I Don’t Wanna Fight” the theme song to the James Bond film “Goldeneye”.
