Green Day - First UK tour in over four years confirmed for October Comes to The O2
"Green Day's greatest accomplishment is the manner in which they've constructed a supremely cohesive whole out of such seemingly disparate parts. The characters, themes and motifs that recur throughout 21st Century Breakdown are marshalled into an engrossing narrative that recalls both Bruce Springsteen and novelist Chuck Palahniuk" - Observer Music MonthlyGreen Day have confirmed their first full UK tour since the start of 2005, playing The O2 as their only London dates on 23 & 24 October 2009. Green Day's long-awaited and highly anticipated eighth studio album '21st Century Breakdown' will be released worldwide by Reprise Records on Friday, 15 May.
