JLS Add Charity Performance At The O2 In Support Of Sport Relief

The O2, the world's most popular music and entertainment venue, today announced that JLS have added a special charity performance at The O2 arena on Saturday 24 March, in aid of Sport Relief.

Undoubtedly the UK's biggest pop group, JLS are nothing short of a phenomenon. New single, Proud, looks set not only to rocket up the charts, but to raise money and awareness for Sport Relief 2012 as the campaign's official single.

The single will be available to download on 18 March and in stores from 19 March, and money raised from the single and Sport Relief will be spent helping some of the most vulnerable people in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.

A beautifully constructed, heartfelt ballad; Oritsé, Marvin, Aston and JB have lent their songwriting skills as well as their signature harmonious vocals to the track, working alongside pop-powerhouse songwriter Ali Tennant and songwriter/producer supremo; Cutfather.

Proud is set to be another hit from the lads who have already notched up eight top ten singles, two MOBO Awards, two BRIT Awards and sold over 6 million records in the UK.

JLS commented, "We are so excited to be a part of Sport Relief this year. To have the official single is an absolute honor for us and we really hope that the song raises an amazing sum of money for such a fantastic cause!"

The 2012 BRIT-nominated group will be performing a special one-off matinee concert for Sport Relief at The O2 on Saturday 24 March, and will be joined by special guests Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks.

Tickets on sale Saturday 21 January at 10am.
