Leonard Cohen announces extra London date at The O2

Following yet another celebrated performance at the weekend's Big Chill festival, Leonard Cohen has announced an extra show to his upcoming UK gigs. The legend will play a second date at The O2 arena on Friday 14th November, continuing what has proven to be the most highly anticipated and fantastically well reviewed tour of all time. With the overwhelming interest from the media and public alike, Cohen's decision to add another date at The O2 arena means that even more fans will get the chance to experience the magic of the legendary performer: Cohen started in Toronto, Canada, travelling to the USA and across Europe. In recent weeks, the Glastonbury Festival fell for his charms, just as intimate theatres, opera houses and arenas have since the beginning of June. "Anyone who was standing at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury as the sun set on Sunday evening would agree that Leonard Cohen stole the show," reported The Independent. Quickly recognised as musical folklore in the making, 29 of the original dates sold out almost immediately, leaving fans and critics alike hailing the show as a once in a lifetime experience. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale this Friday 8th August via www.theo2.co.uk by calling 0844 856 0202. |
