Madness London show announced for December 18
To round off one of the best years of their 30 year residency as pop kings of the United Kingdom, Madness have announced a very special London show at The O2 arena on December 18.The date will be the final night of their UK wide Liberty Of Norton Folgate tour, named after this year's critically acclaimed album which saw the band feted for being 'Ambitious, tuneful, exciting and wise' in their appearance as Uncut magazine's cover stars. 2009 has been peppered with memorable Madness shows. The secret show in Norton Folgate itself to celebrate the album release, leading the Financial Times to declare 'London's brightest pop chroniclers are back and in rude health', the Camden Crawl appearance from the top of a double decker bus which stopped the traffic on Parkway, July's Madstock extravaganza, and the forthcoming history making show on London's Regent Street, making Madness the first ever band to play the capital's main shopping thoroughfare.
