Michael McIntyre today announced he has added two new dates to his 2012 residency at The O2, the world's most successful music and entertainment venue.

Due to unprecedented demand, the comedian has added two new shows, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 October 2012, taking the total number of shows at The O2 from six to eight.

In 2012 the star of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Britain's Got Talent returns to the road for his third and biggest UK arena tour to date.

Michael McIntyre will be performing at The O2 in 2012 on the following dates:
