Miley Cyrus - New dates added to the UK Tour
To meet ticket demand two more shows have been added at London's The O2 arena for Miley Cyrus highly anticipated December UK tour.They will take place on 19 and 20 December and tickets will be available beginning Friday, 19 June at 9am from the following outlets... This highly anticipated show will be the first chance for European fans to see one of the most spectacular shows of the year. Miley is well on her way to being the biggest star in the world. And she has chosen the UK as a launch pad for her newest, biggest, most exciting new live arena show. Miley will be supported by the chart topping pop/rock group MetroStation featuring older brother Trace Cyrus on vocals and guitar. Miley Cyrus first burst on the scene starring as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in the smash hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Miley is the youngest artist (at 16 years old) to have 4 number one albums on the Billboard chart. The Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack was the first title of the year to reach the 1 million-unit mark in the US. The Best of Both Worlds concert film from her last tour is the best selling concert film of all time. Her last U.S. tour in 2007/8 sold just shy of a million tickets. Cyrus also earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for "I Thought I Lost You," from the soundtrack to the successful animated 2008 film Bolt, which also featured Cyrus' voice in a starring role. Hannah Montana: The Movie was released on April 10, 2009, for which Cyrus recorded the main single, "The Climb". Cyrus was listed as one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in The World in 2008, while Forbes ranked her No.35 on "The Celebrity 100" list.
