The newest, most daring and adrenalin-packed live show, Travis Pastrana's Nitro Circus Live, which has already performed to record breaking crowds in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, is set to come to the world's most popular music and entertainment venue, The O2, in December 2012.

It will be the world's biggest and most audacious action sports production ever staged.

Headlining the tour that will visit the UK, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain, will be Nitro creator 17-times X games medalist and action sports legend Travis Pastrana, in his first ever European tour.

Joining Pastrana will be the entire Nitro Circus crew from the hit MTV show and upcoming Nitro Circus 3D Movie including the world's leading stunt woman, Jolene Van Vugt (CAN) and multi- record holders, Erik Roner (USA), Jim De Champ (USA), Special Greg (USA) and Dusty Wygle (USA), as well as some of the world's best action sports athletes.

Nitro Circus Live is a two and a half hour fully choreographed action sports spectacular. Each show combines the biggest and best freestyle motocross (FMX) stunts with insane BMX and skateboard action, as well as the famous Nitro Circus crew performing outrageous feats on a crazy array of contraptions launched off the 50 foot high Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp.

Fans can expect to see everything from kids' trikes, snow skis, tandem bikes and razor scooters through to shopping trolleys, a Barbie car and even a drinks cooler launched with skill off the Gigant-A-Ramp. The show also features spectacular choreographed FMX riding, including the 10 rider Nitro backflip combination train, which has to be seen to be believed.

Speaking about the tour today Nitro Circus ring leader Travis Pastrana said: "I have never toured Europe before and I am so pumped about the opportunity for us to perform live in front of huge crowds over there in so many different countries. Nitro is all about us pushing each other to the limit every night so you never know what is going to happen at one of our shows!"

A state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar set has been created for the European tour, which will allow the massive production to perform on successive nights in different cities throughout Europe and a one-off show at the O2 in London. It is the first of its kind for an action sports event anywhere in the world and requires 10 trucks to transport the set.

The Nitro Circus brand founded by Travis Pastrana, Gregg Godfrey and Jeremy Rawle has enjoyed a rapid rise in global popularity, started by the innovative DVD series featuring Travis and friends performing outrageously dangerous stunts on a range of crazy contraptions.

In 2009, they partnered with MTV to create a new smash- hit TV series produced by Godfrey Entertainment and Dickhouse productions that aired to huge ratings in over 60 countries over two seasons. This has led to the Nitro Circus 3D movie that will be released globally later this year, following in the footsteps of the Jackass 3D movie, which has grossed over $120 million in ticket sales worldwide.
