Paul Weller announces his first ever gig at The O2 arena in London on Saturday March 21 2009.Revitalised by a fresh new live band, Paul has practically been touring non-stop during 2008 taking in places such as Australia, Brazil and Japan and now the UK. David Campbell, CEO & President of AEG Europe, owners and operators of The O2, said: ‘THE Modfather is coming to The O2!! The man is a legend! We can’t wait!’ Paul’s latest album “22 Dreams” was hailed by many as his best solo album to date and reached Number 1 in the album charts. A new double a-side single taken from the album; “Sea Spray” / “22 Dreams” is released on November 3rd. He also releases “Paul Weller Live At The BBC” (Universal) on November 3rd – an extensive collection of stand-out tracks from various BBC radio sessions, TV programmes etc which is available on the following formats; deluxe 4 CD edition, 2 CDs, Triple vinyl and DVD.
