Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys, who celebrated their outstanding contribution to music Brit award with a triumphant greatest hits set last night, have announced they will play The O2 in June.

Pet Shop Boys last night won the prestigious 'Outstanding Contribution to Music' award at the Brit Awards and played a hit-packed medley as the closing set of the show. Today they announce they will play The O2 on 19 June.

Pet Shop Boys were joined onstage at The Brits by guests Brandon Flowers of The Killers and Lady Gaga; they have also remixed Lady Gaga's track "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)", which is available to download free from www.aol.co.uk from today.

Pet Shop Boys release their new album "Yes" on 23 March, preceded by the single "Love etc" on 16 March. The track is currently Radio 2's Single of the Week.

The duo's dynamic live shows have seen them work with artists, designers and directors such as Sam Taylor-Wood, Zaha Hadid, Derek Jarman and, latterly, opera designer Es Devlin, with whom they collaborated on last night's Brits performance.

Tickets are priced £30 (subject to booking fee) and go on sale on at 9am on Friday 20 February via www.theo2.co.uk or by calling 0844 856 0202.
