Prince to Establish Purple Reign Over London
|
Prince has announced today that he will establish his very own Purple Reign over London by performing his greatest hits for the very last time over 21 Nights in London. The opening 7 nights on his tour will be played at The O2 on Wednesday 1st, Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th, Tuesday 7th, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Tuesday 14th August 2007. The Earth Tour will be centre stage in the round. All tickets are to be priced at a great value of £31.21, with booking fees capped at £3.50, plus £2.50 postage and packing per order, and will include a copy of Prince’s brand new CD, the follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘3121’. In a typically innovative move, Prince is bypassing the normal distribution system and fans will be able to get a copy of his new album free with their ticket. On sale from 9am Friday 11th May, tickets will be available from www.theo2.co.uk. The 21 nights in London will be Prince’s only concerts in Europe this year. Prince has not played a UK arena for at least ten years and he promises a spectacular return with a band of the highest caliber and support acts of every shape and size from all across the globe. As always, the shows will have a life of their own – all curfew restrictions have been lifted! |
