Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour 2010 Celebrities Announced

Kelly Brook, Austin Healey & Mark Ramprakash are first celebrity contestants announced for Strictly Come Dancing 2010 UK Tour!

Having entertained more than 500,000 Strictly fans over two sell-out tours, STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR! returns for a third year to dazzle UK Arena audiences in 2010. The first celebrities to be announced to join next year's tour are actress and model Kelly Brook, former England rugby player Austin Healey and series four winner, cricketer Mark Ramprakash.

STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR 2010 returns to The O2 on Thursday 4 February running until Sunday 7 February 2010. Audiences should prepare themselves for an array of beautiful costumes, skilful routines and a host of celebrity dancers joining Kelly, Austin and Mark.

Kelly Brook said: "I'm so excited to be part of the Strictly Live tour this year. I love dancing and can't wait to dig out my dancing shoes, slip into those beautiful costumes again and give the boys a run for their money!"

Austin Healey said: "Having been on many rugby tours throughout my career. I'm used to playing at big stadiums and arenas though never wearing sequins and spandex. I missed out on the glitterball in 2008 but this time I'm hoping for a different result. I'm already hitting the gym to get back in shape and oh yes, bring back the guns!"

Mark Ramprakash said: "Winning Strictly series four was a fantastic experience I never imagined would happen to me. Now to be touring the country in the live show is another unexpected turn in my dancing journey. My dance moves are a bit rusty but I hope I can bowl over the audience once again."

Stars from the hit BBC One television show past and present will gather their gowns and dance shoes to become dance contestants, competing for the votes of the audiences in Arenas across the UK. They will be joined on the dates across January and February, by their world-class professional partners, performing intricate dance moves to fantastic live music.

The seventh series of STRICTLY COME DANCING is currently being broadcast on BBC1 on Saturday nights. The series has already attracted over nine million viewers. The television format, also known as Dancing with the Stars, has been sold by BBC Worldwide to over 30 international broadcasters and has been named the world's most successful reality TV format by the Guinness Book of World Records 2010.
