Take on the nations sporting stars at the adiTOUR
Ever fancied taking on some of the nations sporting icons? Well now you can thanks to the adiTOUR - a new interactive sports experience from adidas.Want to out-perform England cricketer Kevin Pietersen in a speed and agility challenge? Or sprint against England rugby star Danny Cipriani? How about testing your physical strength and power against Olympic Gold medallist Chris Hoy? The adiTOUR is an interactive sports roadshow experience that aims to educate people on training and the benefits of sports participation, whilst inspiring people to get active - and you can go head to head 'virtually' against adidas sporting stars to test your skills. The roadshow is travelling to shopping centres, sporting events, and universities across the UK this summer, giving people the opportunity to trial the latest adidas running footwear whilst taking on our athletes 'virtually' in a series of physical challenges and is coming to The O2 from the 11th to 13th September. The three challenges, which focus on power, speed and strength, are introduced and demonstrated by adidas athletes on screens within the adiTOUR, and feature stars from the world of athletics, football, rugby, cricket, triathlon, cycling and aquatics, including Frank Lampard, Kevin Pietersen and Christine Ohuruogu. adidas training experts will also be on hand to offer free footscans to visitors, analysing your footstrike, fitting you with correct footwear and apparel, and helping to explain the importance of wearing the right kit when training.
