The Legendary Queen + Paul Rodgers will Rock The O2

Following the phenomenal success of Queen and Paul Rodgers' previous tour, fans will once again be able to see the collaboration of these epic artists take to the stage at The O2 arena, as part of their world-wide tour on Monday 13th October 2008. For the first time in 13 years the band will perform their eagerly anticipated first studio album since the Freddie Mercury sessions. Written and produced by May, Taylor and Rodgers, the yet to be disclosed album title will include the previously released track "Say it’s not true".Queen's last studio album release was 'Made In Heaven' released in November 1995 containing the last recordings with Freddie. The album became the band's biggest selling studio album, with world sales in excess of 20 million. Queen's "Greatest Hits 1" album has achieved the distinction of being the UK's biggest selling album of all time, having sold a staggering 5,407,587 copies in Britain alone (source: VH1/The Official UK Charts Company. November 2006). Paul Rodgers successful prominence in rock over the 40 years has seen him write, produce and record some of radios biggest hits including "All Right Now", "Feel Like Making Love" and "Radioactive". Rodgers' latest CD/DVD release, "Live in Glasgow", charted internationally and was recently certified Gold. David Campbell, Chief Executive of AEG Europe, owners and operators of The O2, commented: "We are ecstatic to have such an iconic collaboration perform at The O2.
