The Verve Adds The O2 To Winter Tour Dates

The Verve have announced they are to play The O2 on 13 December as the London date in their extended UK tour. Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 5th October. Subscribers to The Verve's mailing list however will have access to an exclusive advance ticket pre-sale. This will take place from 9am on Thursday 4th October via a password-protected link. David Campbell, CEO of AEG Europe, owners of The O2, said: ‘The Verve are arguably one of the most influential bands of the 90’s and we are thrilled that the recently reunited band have added The O2 to their UK tour dates’. The band, Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury are currently in the studio working on their fourth album, due for release in 2008.
