TIESTO returns to London to become first DJ to host The O2 arena

The ever-evolving pioneer DJ, TIËSTO, comes to The O2 this August, playing his biggest solo UK show to date, to showcase his latest event incarnation - In Search of Sunrise 7. The date, Friday 8th August 2008, will see TIËSTO become the first DJ to host The O2 arena as yet again the master DJ breaks boundaries. This arena date looks set to be another explosive spectacular from the worlds most in demand DJ. TIËSTO will deliver his 5 hour set in the style of his ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ series, with a newly developed and custom made state of the art production. Joining him on the night will be support acts First State & Airbase who, as ever, have been personally selected by TIËSTO. David Campbell, Chief Executive of AEG Europe, owners and operators of The O2, said: “TIËSTO is huge. He played indigO2 earlier this year and there was a massive demand for tickets. We are very pleased to be able to welcome him back with such a landmark event. ” TIËSTO kicks off a dedicated In Search Of Sunrise Summer Tour, with 36 club shows rolling across the States and Canada before heading to Europe and The O2 and promises a grand scale super show for the multitude of TIËSTO fans. Continuing the unique success of his geographically inspired mix compilations, TIËSTO looks to explore yet another region by taking us to the Far East this time with In Search of Sunrise 7 – Asia. The show and the album, which was mixed and recorded in Thailand, captures the peaceful and intensively passionate way of life together with the vigorous activity that TIËSTO encountered during his tour through the region this spring.
