The O2, the most popular music and entertainment venue in the world, today announced that Westlife will bring their Greatest Hits Tour to the iconic venue on Wednesday 23 May 2012.

The tour entitled ‘The Greatest Hits Tour’ will see Kian, Shane, Mark and Nicky perform their 14 number one singles and hits in one spectacular live show. Having sold over 44 million records worldwide, Irish super-group Westlife are celebrating over 14 years of success by releasing their brand new single ‘Lighthouse’ on 13 November with the release of their ‘Greatest Hits’ on 21 November 2011.

With two Brits, an MTV Award, a World Music Award and no less than four Record of The Years under their belt not many artists can compare to Westlife’s extraordinary success. In the UK alone they have earned the title of Biggest Selling International Band this Decade, scoring 10 multi platinum albums, the third highest number one single record in UK history and they also hold the crown for the Biggest Arena Act of All Time in the UK.

The band said: “It’s almost hard to believe that we’ve been doing this for as long as we have. We’re incredibly proud and are looking forward to releasing our Greatest Hits album and performing them live on tour.”

Westlife will be performing at The O2 arena Wednesday 23 May 2012.
