A night of pure reggae comes to indigO2. For the first time ever in the UK, Beres Hammond and Tarrus Riley will grace the stage this October!

Beres Hammond, One of the most underappreciated reggae artists of his time, was something of a throwback during his '90s heyday: a soulful crooner indebted to classic rocksteady and American R&B, one who preferred live instrumentation and wrote much of his own material. Hammond specialized in romantic lovers rock, but he also found time to delve into light dancehall, conscious roots reggae, hip-hop fusion, and straight-up contemporary R&B. Hits include ‘I Feel Good’, ‘Tempted To Touch’, ‘One Dance Can’t Do’, ‘Rock Away’ and many more.

Tarrus Riley, is the son of veteran singer Jimmy Riley and nurse Lavern Tatham-Riley. He began his musical career as a deejay working with Busta Rhymes, taking his birth sign as his stage name at his mother's suggestion (the spelling later changed from Taurus to Tarrus), and recorded his first singles for his father's Love & Promotion label. Despite his father's fame, Riley has credited his mother's influence on his career as much as his father and, along with his initial ambition to be a reggae deejay rather than singer, credits this factor for his unique singing voice when compared to his father. He was guided in his early career by Dean Fraser, who also performs in his band and produces much of Riley's Hits include ‘She’s Royal’, ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, ‘Human Nature’, ‘Contagious’, ‘Love and Devotion’.
