Champion rapper Chipmunk joins forces with Best Buy for his 21st Birthday to announce a FREE indigO2 gig!

Following news of his double nomination at this year's MOBO awards, platinum-selling artist Chipmunk today took to Twitter to announce a very special gig for fans as he turns 21. On Thursday 10 November, Chipmunk will perform an exclusive set for Best Buy customers, taking songs from his debut album "I Am Chipmunk", as well as his latest release "Transition."

2,500 tickets will be distributed for free at Best Buy stores nationwide with every purchase over £10 from Monday 17 October. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Chipmunk is the latest high-profile act to sign-up with US tech giant Best Buy, following free concerts by Ellie Goulding, Alesha Dixon and R&B princess Alexis Jordan. Launched last year in the UK, Best Buy opened its 11th store in Enfield London last month.

London-based pop trio SoundGirl, who released their debut album this month, will also take to the stage on 10th November – marking the third time Best Buy has taken over the IndigO2 venue to reward customers. And new all female band Vida, managed by JLS star Ortisé Williams, promise to deliver some girl power to proceedings with a hi-octane performance.
