For the UK's most promising storytellers, poets and songwriters, Brit Writers Awards Unpublished 2010 has created a springboard for making their writing dreams a reality. Not only are we offering £10,000 to the overall winner - the largest UK prize for unpublished writers – but BWA finalists will be stepping into the spotlight at our glittering awards ceremony and becoming the centre of attention for leading publishers, literary agents and producers. Our black-tie gala awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday 15 July 2010 at the indigO2, at The O2 in London and will be attended by representatives from major publishing houses, plus celebrities and international media representatives, it will open the doors to an industry that often feels hidden to the UK's aspiring writers
