Champions Live comes to indigO2 on Saturday 6 August 2011!

Champions Live an event to felicitate one of the living legends of the world cricket and the biggest star of the indian cricket Sunil Gavaskar and international launch of the music cd of the poems by Ramesh Tendulkar father of the greatest son of the indian soil, Little Master Sachin Tendulkar.

Ajit Tendulkar, Sachin’s elder brother has confirmed his participation for the event. Sachin Tendulkar has accepted the invitation and he will be attending the event.
 
Sunil Gavaskar has witnessed three major Indian victories, namely the 1983 world cup as a batsman,1985 Champions Trophy as a Captain and 2011 world cup as a commentator and mentor for the indian cricket team. His experience in the field of cricket is unmatched and felicitating and paying tribute to such a legend will be an honor by itself.
 
Sachin Tendulkar, a legend in world cricket is always inspired by his father, who passed away when Sachin was playing the world cup in England. His father was a well known poet and Sachin have always shown his love for his father,whenever he reached a milestone. One will always see Sachin looking into the skies to thank his father and take a bow. It will be a fitting tribute to his father to do this event in London, which is Sachin’s favourite international city.
 
The mega event will be showered with some musical scores of the legendary singer Kishor Kumar, by famours singer and Dr.Mahesh Patwardhan and other artists. Mahesh Manjrekar and Sachin Khedekar will be narrating the event.

1. Felicitation of Mr.Sunil Gavaskar
2. Interview of Mr. Sunil Gavaskar, going through the life and times of his cricketing career. Audio, Video clips will be shown during the interview
3. International launch of CD of Late Mr. Ramesh Tendulkar by Mr. Sunil Gavaskar
4. Musical tribute to Mr. Sunil Gavaskar by Dr. Mahesh Patwardhan and the artists by performing the ‘Kishor Kumar’ night.
