Club Dada - Dada's Little Helper

CLUB DADA: Dada's Little Helper with Rob Da Bank, Brass Roots + The Correspondents

The famous freaky Glastonbury after-show club night gets festively frisky!

Following the success of Hit Me Dada One More Time: The Unofficial Britney Aftershow in June 2009, Club Dada is back with a night of sexy seasonal fun. Offering up a debauched take on the traditional office Christmas party, Club Dada will incorporate fairylit axe grinders, horny reindeer and a seductive Ms. Christmas burlesque dancer. Photocopiers are not supplied for their own safety.

Packages including ride passes to The O2 Christmas Fair adjacent to the venue in addition to meal options are available too.

Club Dada: Dada's Little helper will include Brass Roots,  an 8-piece, horn and percussion ensemble bringing high energy driven grooves, with original tunes mixed with covers of tracks from artists as random as David Bowie, Gnarls Barkley and the White Stripes. The group has already unleashed knock-out shows to sold out audiences at King's Cross Scala, Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Festibelly and a potentially record-breaking 7 shows at Bestival!

Adding to the festivities London duo The Correspondents (MC Mr Bruce and DJ / Producer Mr Chuckles) collaborate to make Hip Hop for the 1930s, Big Band music for the 00s. Splicing swing samples with squelchy synths over dusty drum loops they've depicted a modern day journey into the time of rogue's, lust, affordable clowns and foot-tapping, toe curling 'get your brogues on' dance floor swing beat. Their festival credentials are solid with recent appearances at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Shambala Festival, Lovebox Weekender, The Big Chill, Camden Crawl and Innocent Village Fete.

Complimenting the live bands in action and continuing the theme will be the eclectic tunesmith Rob Da Bank, who knows a thing or two about festivals, evolving his Sunday Best Glastonbury tent into the collest standalone festival in the UK - Bestival.

Topping off the evening are the live entertainers that roam amongst the entranced crowd of party goers, famous to the Club Dada scene. This event will include angle grinders, stilt walking Reindeer-women and some peculiar misfits we just can't describe... for legal reasons.

94 years after the Dada movement exploded in the Zurich cafe, Cabaret Voltaire, the ideology has maintained popularity with the extroverts and taboo breakers of the times. Taking elements of Dadaism recognised through the movements of Surrealism, Pop Art and Punk, Dadaism is the perfect backdrop for a night of mischief, mayhem and music.
