'A band for outsiders, by outsiders', as their lead singer once said, Placebo have sold over 10 million records, recorded six studio albums and have seemingly been touring the world consistently for the past decade, headlining festivals and arenas around the world.

The band will perform on Saturday 28 April 2012, making up one of four nights of music as part of Sundance London.

"As a band, we follow our own philosophy of making the music we want to make, putting faith in our songs and records.  The Sundance Film Festival has been championing similar like minded people for over 30 years and encouraging them to put faith in their own talent.  We’re huge film fans and delighted to be part of the inaugural Sundance London festival."

Placebo return to the studio next year to begin work on their 7th studio album.
