Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel will be performing for one night only at indigO2 this festive season.

Steve Harley will be ending the year doing what he does best and loves most – playing Live, on the road with Cockney Rebel.

His latest CD, “Stranger Comes To Town”, has been hailed as a Masterclass in lyric writing (“Steve Harley is back in the driving seat” – Mojo), and several songs from the album will feature in the December run of full-band concerts.

The set will include songs from the early days which rarely, if ever, get featured Live, such as Ritz, Muriel The Actor and Cavaliers, but the big hits are also promised, such as 'Judy Teen', 'Mr Raffles', the legendary crowd-pleaser 'Make Me Smile', and the epic 'Sebastian'.

In a year that has seen Harley headline festivals in Europe; tour the UK extensively in a three-man acoustic show; perform with a symphony orchestra in Norway for national TV; as well as play “The World’s Smallest Gig”, when he performed three songs in a fan’s living-room in Cologne, Germany, as a pledge for Children In Need (the fan gave £10,000 for one of Steve’s guitars. Plus the personal gig!), Steve has been quoted saying “Live performance is my first and truest love. Something different happens once that light hits. And it’s never the same twice”.
