Tyber and The Dualers will be making a return to indigO2 on Saturday 9 June!

After Si’s exist from the band for a solo career, Tyber continues to tour and perform the brilliant music which inspired the brothers in their childhood – Ska.  

The Dualers are Britain’s much loved Ska and Reggae band from the South of England who have steadily built up a following of many thousands of truly dedicated fans across all ages and have sold out at the Indigo O2 a record breaking 4 times within 18 months.

In 2004 their first single ‘Kiss On The Lips’ entered the UK charts at number 21, selling 14,000 copies and out-selling chart heavyweights Scissor Sisters and Girls Aloud in its first week. Their second single ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ was another chart success, entering at number 23 in November 2005 and the song was subsequently featured on the ‘Fools Gold’ soundtrack of the film starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. The third chart single in 2006 “Don’t Go” was followed by release of their debut album ‘The Melting Pot’ and helped establish The Dualers as one of the most respected names on the UK Ska and Reggae scene.

Simon left the band at the end of 2010 to pursue a solo career, and with Tyber continuing to front The Dualers they won the coveted 2 Tone Central Award for Best Band at the SKAbour Weekend Festival in Folkestone, where they headlined on the Saturday night at the Quaterhouse.

The Dualers are currently in the studio recording their third self-penned album due for release in the summer of 2012.  This follows the “With Respect” album, released in December 2011 and the Prince Buster album produced for the International Ska Festival 2012. The band continues to perform on a regular basis to fans from all over the world, and are looking forward to returning here soon!
