R&B disco legends The S.O.S Band will play a special London show at indigO2 on 20th March. The band are famous for their floor filling disco tinged hits including Take Your Time (Do It Right), S.O.S, Just Be Good To Me, Just The Way You Like It, The Finest and many more. 

 

The S.O.S Band (Sounds Of Success) were founded in Atlanta in 1977 and within three years had scored their first hit with Take Your Time (Do It Right), a Top 3 hit in the US chart and a No.1 in the US R&B charts. For the next decade The S.O.S Band released 8 albums and 21 singles, including influential work with the hot production duo Jam & Lewis putting the bands sound amongst hit records of the time from Prince, Janet Jackson, The Time, Cherelle and Alexander O'Neal. 

 

The S.O.S Band's signature sound remained influential years later when they hit Just Be Good To Me was reworked by Beats International (aka Norman Cook) to create UK No.1 hit Dub Be Good To Me in 1990. Further influence could be heard when both Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson used S.O.S Band samples in the hits Always Be My Baby (Remix) and Call On Me respectively. 

 

Over the last 30 years The S.O.S Band have toured the world with their unrivalled back catalogue of hits and now they're coming to London where their records continue to fill dance floors, for what will be a night of funky magic.
