Release The Peace comes to indigO2 on 28 October.

Release the Peace is a journey of two mothers, Margaret Mizen and Grace Idowu who both lost their sons to violence in 2008. Margaret and Grace will spend the next 4 years visiting Schools and Pupil Referral Units around the country where they will tell these young people the stories of their 2 son's and the consequences of violence and how they do not seek retribution for their murder's, but instead have chosen to bring peace as a positive response from their huge loss.

In doing this they will encourage these young people to organise peaceful events and activities in their communities, in doing so Margaret and Grace will reward these young people with tickets to music and sporting events. On the 28th October the first of these rewards will take place at the Indigo2  where they will be rewarding 1000 young people for work already achieved in their communities. There will be performances form Shayne Ward, Sam Gray, Raven, Abi Phillips, Mason Noise, Dru Blu, Valve control and Nick Woods.
