GLOW PRESENTS STARSEED, STEALING GREEN, WHERE'S BILLY? PHANTOM LACUNA & DEMURE

"This is the future of ROCK in the UK, an incredible line-up not to be missed by anyone who loves fist-in-the-air riff driven rock" - Total Rock Radio

FeedMe Music returns to indigO2 on Friday 7th August with "glow" featuring a line up of the strongest alt/rock bands in the UK. Starseed are launching their highly anticipated second album Peace Machine with support from Stealing Green, Where's Billy?, Headspace, Phantom Lacuna and Demure, all gaining press and industry attention fast.

Starseed - www.myspace.com/starseedrock

"Starseed go from strength to strength raising the bar for heavy rock in the UK. The Love's War EP is impeccable. Driving rhythms and soaring melodies that are as good as, if not stronger, than any rock heavyweights from the US, and live - 100% fist-in-the-air, balls-on-the-floor ROCK with incredible performance and outstanding musicianship. This band is going to emerge like a punch in the face leaving the British public begging to be hit again" - Total Rock Radio

Starseed deliver the kind of onslaught that leaves punters moshing cart-wheeling, screaming and dry-heaving with sheer excitement. 2008 was by far one of the most productive years for the band. They supported the 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster for a blow-up New Years show at Monto Water Rats; and Starseed were nominated for Best Live Band at the Indy Music Awards. The band release their 2nd full length album Peace Machine at indigO2 on 7th August. Whilst recording the album, Run Through The Desert (Chris Cornell's touring band) personally invited Starseed to play with them at a sold out show at The Fly on 1st March.

Stealing Green - www.myspace.com/stealinggreen

"Zeppelin sized riffs and even bigger vocals" - NME

Stealing Green are one of the most exciting British rock acts, merging the best of classic British and American rock with a vital contemporary edge. The band's songs and live prowess has seen them hailed by NME and XFM (who have invited them to play a live session and made them Band Of The Week on XFM Uploaded - and attracting over 230,000 listens on the XFM site alone).

Recent recordings have been done at 360 Studios with production legend Jon Astley (Led Zepellin, The Who, Clapton, The Rolling Stones), and live shows at London's Astoria 2, Clapham Grand and indigO2 have secured Stealing Green's place as front runners in the alt/rock scene.

Where's Billy? - www.myspace.com/ukbandwheresbilly

Where's Billy? have played London venues frequently, alongside a multitude of gigs throughout the South East. This dedication has earned the band a loyal following. Cocky yet charismatic, and compared to the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age and The Offspring it is little surprise that Where's Billy? are gaining industry attention. The guys have just completed an EP with top producer Simon King (Reuben / YouMeAtSix / Fightstar) and will be releasing it at London's most prestigious venue, indigO2.

Headspace - www.myspace.com/headspacerocks

Headspace are a three piece band from the South East, now based in Camden. Since forming in 2006, the band have been Indy Award finalists as well as having a song featured in the game Pro Evo Soccer 2009. These guys ooze rock'n'roll and swagger on stage so charmingly you'd think they were born cool. Headspace's new EP possesses a wide range of influences, most notably rock giants Rage Against The Machine and Green Day, and they produce that wall-of-sound effect that leaves punters begging for more.

Phantom Lacuna - www.myspace.com/phantomlacuna

Phantom Lacuna are a band who put energy, passion, expression, honesty and above all, excitement back into rock music without heralding former cliches. Their songs are lyric lead, soul searching, and musically lean towards riffing guitars, big choruses and intricate guitar work!

Demure - www.myspace.com/demureuk

"Demure songs have a charm and a hummable charisma... bitter-sweet melodies are lush and sonically-ambitious" - Music Journo

"Demure are all about straight-forward grungy music that presents a unique new voice in the alternative genre" - stereokiller.com

Four piece rock outfit Demure bear the hallmark influences of Smashing Pumpkins QOTSA, SOAD, Rage to name a few.
