Water Margin is the latest new and exciting restaurant to open at The O2 as well as marking the oriental restaurant's first venture into London. The restaurant offers a wide range of oriental food including mouth watering Thai, Malaysian, Cantonese and Japanese dishes. The high quality buffet offers more than sixty different exciting dishes including Singapore Laska, Giant Prawns and Aromatic Duck. Crowds will be wowed by the specially trained Tepanyaki chefs that create an amazing food theatre before customers, using ingredients such as Beef and Lamb steaks to Tuna, Squid and King Prawns. The opulent décor has been designed by an award winning club designer of the year, Blacksheep, which boasts a giant fiber optic chandelier and an impressive 6 metre high Chinese tiled wall. The venue can be hired for private parties as well as cater for tailor made corporate events with an impressive capacity of 290. There is also a ten foot projection screen for live events and the facility for a DJ and live music. The restaurant group opened the first Water Margin in December 2003 at the prestigious Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, where it remains one of the most popular restaurants in the area. The Water Margin team has been together for many years and intend to keep bringing high quality restaurants to prestigious sites such as The O2. The directors are thrilled to open their new venture at The O2. One of the directors, Sue Phillips, added "We are specially designed to cater for those people looking to enjoy an oriental experience where the diner dictates the pace". Our bar and restaurant facilities means we can host your party and we can cater for the individual who wants to eat before or after their concert. Visit www.watermargin.co.uk. |
