A must-see event for Jazz fans...Consistently rated not just as one of the greatest jazz albums but as one of THE greatest musical statements of the 20th century, the British Music Experience is delighted to host an exclusive concert to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the recording of Miles Davis' Kind of Blue. The Kind of Blue Concert event on Wednesday 15 August will feature Gary Crosby's Nu Troop an all star line up featuring; Gary Crosby, Abram Wilson, Denys Baptiste, Andrew McCormack, Jason Yarde & Rod Youngs performing the entire Kind of Blue album as well as feature support from the Sally Larkin Trio and Carlos Brizzola Trio. Tickets: £23.50 in advance, £26 on the door (including free entrance to the exhibition) Sorry folks... On Friday 10 July the preshow and finale spaces will be closed from 10am to 12pm for a special Rhythm of London event and the whole exhibition will be closed for a private event on Monday 13 July from 2pm. Despair not though as we'll be open first thing the following day to welcome you with open arms! The world's first fully-interactive journey through the incredible story of British popular music. Using state of the art technology we show how rock, pop, dance and many other genres have formed and influenced British culture over the last sixty years.
