Saving energy. Recycling. Reducing waste. Travel planning. Being part of the local community. The O2 hosts over eight million visitors a year. And we’re committed to making our environment the best it can be.

At The O2 our job doesn’t stop when the curtain falls and the band leaves the stage. Last year we had over 9 million visitors, 168 event days and put on a staggering 194 performances.

Despite our busy schedule, we remain committed to social responsibility, minimising our impact on the environment and supporting efforts to better our local community. We are participants in the AEG 1Earth programme, our companywide environmental sustainability initiative. We support our charity partners including Charlton Athletic Community Trust as Patron of their youth services, provided to hundreds of young people across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. 

In addition, we are proud to support the work of Visit Greenwich and Visit London through London and Partners to attract tourists to our borough and city.

We’re at the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula, an area that is growing and developing fast. We’re proud of our role in our local community and also being in one the world’s best cities.


We do everything we can to ensure everyone can attend gigs and events at The O2.  We’ve even been given gold charter status by charity Attitude is Everything who aim to improve deaf and disabled people’s access to live music.
