TOTALLY FOOTBALL SHOW LIVE
Never mind Neymar to PSG, Lukaku to Man United and, er, Darren Fletcher to Stoke – the biggest transfer of the summer was unquestionably James Richardson’s move to the new chart-topping podcast, The Totally Football Show.
Jimbo will be joined on stage for this first London show in his new team colours by Raphael Hongistein, Iain Macintosh, Producer Ben and – drum roll please – superstar comedian Kevin Bridges!
There’ll be puns and punditry, football tales far too cheeky for the regular show, as well as skits and the audience’s opportunity to win prizes for putting their footballing queries to the panel.
It’s Totally Football, it’s totally live – and it’s totally happening at indigo at the O2 on 29th November.
BIOS
James Richardson
James is the presenter of The Totally Football Show, having made his name on British television in the 1990s as the ice-cream eating, newspaper reviewing host of Gazetta Football Italia. He broadcasts in the UK on BT Sport and throughout the world on Premier League TV. Jimbo also dabbles with the weekly Truth & Movies podcast, and you’ll find him fronting The World’s Strongest Man on Channel 5 this Christmas. Follow him @acjimbo
Kevin Bridges
Kevin is an internationally acclaimed comedian who has recently completed a sell out tour of Australia, New Zealand and Asia. On his last tour he sold over half a million tickets in the UK, including a record 16 nights at the Glasgow’s 10,000 seat Hydro Arena. Kevin will be on tour around Britain in 2018 – and this is a unique opportunity to hear him talk about his passion for football (and tell jokes, of course). Follow him@kevinbridges86
Raphael Hongstein
Rafa is the Übermensch of German football analysis. A native Bavarian with a fondness for old skool hip hop and a fine lunch, he appears regularly across radio and TV, most frequently alongside Jimbo on BT Sport’s European Football Show and Champions League Goals programmes. Rafa’s long-awaited book on Jürgen Klopp, Bring The Noise, is out in time for Christmas (and Chanukah). Follow him @honigstein
Iain Macintosh
Southend fan Iain is the Victor Kiam of podcasting - the man who took the Totally Football team from their previous abode to their new home. He hosts the Totally Football League Show and although he’s been writing about real football for ESPN and other high-profile titles for over 15 years, Iain’s book Football Manager Ruined My Life remains his calling card. Follow him @iainmacintosh
Ben Green
Producer Ben has been the voice in James’ head for longer than either of them care to remember. He’s a Liverpool fan and enjoys falling asleep in front of Match of the Day (and Match of the Day 2, if he’s lucky). Ben hosts the Parts Unknown wrestling podcast and is the author of Podcast Master: Your Short Guide to Broadcasting Online. Follow him @greenbengreen
