Basketmouth is a leading player in the African comedy industry.

Over the years, across Africa, he has hosted concerts featuring Jay Z, Rihanna, Beyonce, Joe, Chris Brown, Boys II Men, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Kool & The Gang, Akon, Dru Hill, Buster Rhymes, Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg, Ciara, JaRule, Brian McKnight and many more.

Basketmouth has headlined comedy shows all over the world , including  the UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Ethiopia etc. He also headlined is own special for Comedy Central and in 2014 was part of "Just for Laughs" festival ‘one of the biggest comedy festivals in the world. He was also the anchor host for the MTV Base Big Friday show which won the best African TV show in 2013.

The Basketmouth UK live comedy show has sold out indigo at The O2 many times since 2010 and went on to sell out the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith and the SSE Arena.

For 2019 Basketmouth has decided to rebrand his shows into more intimate shows to launch his new live comedy show titled "BASKETMOUTH THE SON OF PETER”
