Just over 25 years ago, Jazz FM staged the UK’s very first smooth jazz concert — a landmark moment that sold out so quickly a second show had to be added the same night. Now, Smooth Jazz Events UK is celebrating that iconic beginning with a brand‑new all‑star event featuring three of the genre’s standout artists from that original era.

Introducing: Dave Koz & Friends — with guitarist Marc Antoine, saxophonist Steve Cole, and special guest US vocalist Rebecca Jade, whose phenomenal performances on the Dave Koz Cruise and across the US smooth jazz festival scene have earned her a devoted international following.

They’ll be backed by a powerhouse UK band featuring two of Britain’s own smooth jazz ambassadors: keyboardist Oli Silk and former Simply Red guitarist Mark Jaimes, both recent smooth jazz chart‑toppers. Joining them are Orefo Orakwue (bassist and music director for Anastacia) and drummer Westley Joseph, known for his work with Omar and Loose Ends.

This is set to be one of those unforgettable nights people will be talking about for years.
