‘Santa's little helpers' get a massive makeover, courtesy of Outlet Shopping at The O2

  • ‘Santa’s Helpers’ have swapped the workshop for workouts this year in preparation for their biggest job yet: helping busy Christmas shoppers carry their many, many shopping bags.
  • Visitors will be able to enlist the bag-carrying services of Santa’s Massive Helpers for free, so they can grab even more of the incredible festive offers found at Outlet Shopping at The O2, without the muscle ache.
  • Kickstarting a bumper December, with Outlet Shopping at The O2 expecting close to one million visitors across the month, Santa’s Massive Helpers will be onsite to help Christmas go further, on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December.

In the lead-up to Christmas, Santa’s elves can usually be found helping the Big Man get through his gift list. But for the first time since the start of Christmas lore, four of St. Nicholas’ (traditionally diminutive) assistants won’t be there. They have swapped his workshop for workouts – and beefed up, big-style for a new festive role as ‘Santa’s Massive Helpers’, courtesy of Outlet Shopping at The O2.

The team of seriously hench elves – affectionately nicknamed “Not So Tiny” Tim, “Stacked-and-Snowy” Zoe, “Shredded” Shelly and “Ripped” Ross – have been training for their latest challenge: helping busy Christmas shoppers as they go about purchasing their festive fare at Outlet Shopping at The O2.

With so many designer brands to choose from (Calvin Klein, Clarins, Levi’s, Lindt, Nike, Superdry, to name a few), and all up to 70% off RRP, you’ll find all your Christmas shopping needs catered to under one iconic roof – but don’t worry, you won’t have to carry it all. These buff helpers, who will be stationed on the upper level within the shopping district, will be ready to assist anyone who bags more great deals than they’d bargained for – or indeed, even just those wanting to browse in comfort – at zero extra cost. What’s more, and in the spirit of Christmas, your shopping can even be delivered to your home free of charge, meaning nobody needs to think twice about picking up that gorgeous (but weighty) Le Creuset ovenware – or put off trying on that irresistible party outfit at Reiss – just because their hands are full.

Janine Constantin-Russell, Managing Director of the Entertainment District and Outlet Shopping at The O2, commented: “December is a hugely busy month for us, and this year is no different, as we’re expecting close to one million visitors through the doors to find their perfect Christmas gifts at great prices. This year, as well as making their pockets stretch further, visitors will also be able to enjoy this totally unique shopping experience to get them into the Christmas spirit. Our team of Santa’s Massive Helpers will be lending a hand (or bicep) to anyone who needs it and will be doing their very best to spread festive cheer to all those who visit Outlet Shopping at The O2.”

Santa’s Massive Helpers will be available to book for one-hour slots across the weekend of Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December between 10am and 6pm. There are a limited number of slots so first come, first served, so we recommend kickstarting your shopping early to avoid disappointment.
