Keeping you safe at events
Welcome to The O2 – it’s great to have you back.
We all have a shared responsibility in helping beat the spread of the pandemic, so we’ve made a few changes to keep everyone safe.
Our new terms and conditions mean anyone purchasing a ticket will be agreeing to wear face coverings throughout their visit, share data to assist with NHS track and trace if required, and that they will adhere to any new measures as required by government or by the venue to safely enable the event to take place. You can view these here.
To help us run a responsible, safe event there are a number of steps that we have introduced:
In line with government guidelines, it’s mandatory for you to wear a face covering at all times during your visit to The O2 (if you’re medically able to do so and aged 11+). They can be safely removed when you’re seated to eat or drink.
We’ve enhanced all cleaning, before, during and after your visit. You’ll see hand sanitiser units throughout the arena, and our advanced anti-bacterial fogging machines make sure that surfaces are protected for up to 30 days.
We've introduced a strict clear bag policy so we can carry out security screening contact-free. Only one see-through bag is allowed per person.
All ticketing is now digital using AXS Mobile ID . You and your guests will need to download The O2 venue app to access your tickets and have them scanned as you go into the arena.
The app shows you up to date details of the event, like which arena entrance to go to, and you can use it to order food, drinks and merchandise with fast collection lanes, so you’ll spend less time queuing and more time enjoying the show.
The O2 is a cashless venue. We’ll only accept contactless or card payments.
For socially distanced events, all tickets will now be sold in groups of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and a seating configuration in line with 1 metre plus guidelines will be in place within the arena, with new one-way systems to navigate you to your seats. Our Stewards will be on hand to direct you to where you are sitting.
We recommend planning how you’ll get here in advance. We have pre-bookable parking spaces, and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers offers a fast and enjoyable route to The O2. Head to our transport page for more information on these services, as well as private hire options and the Tube.
We’ll send you all the information you need to know about your visit in advance. If there’s anything you need while you’re here, our customer services team will be on hand to help you.
Please act responsibly, and be considerate to other visitors, giving them time and space move around the venue, and understand they may have different requirements to yours.
Please remember: if you’re feeling unwell, you must not visit The O2.
If you have any questions about your visit please check our FAQ’s section which has been recently updated to reflect the new measures in place.
We’re ready to make your experience at The O2, a night to remember, and can’t wait to see you.
Let’s do this.
