Good Vibes All Round

Saving energy. Reducing waste. Engaging with the local community. The O2, the world’s most popular music and entertainment venue, has launched Good Vibes All Round; to represent the core ideals that sit at the heart of our business.

We are committed to social responsibility, minimising our impact on the environment and supporting efforts to better our local community. We are participants in the AEG 1Earth programme, a global environmental sustainability initiative.

Sustainability

Our mission is to reduce The O2’s environmental impact and build a sustainable, green business for our fans and staff.

AEG is pioneering in the sports and live entertainment industries and has publically confirmed its 2020 Environmental Goals to cut greenhouse gas emissions, reduce water use in water-stressed areas and increase its recycling and reuse rates across all of its venues.

Here are some of the things we’ve done to ensure The O2 is a sustainable and responsible venue.

Charity

We're delighted to be working with our chosen charities until the end of 2020.

Invaluable support will be provided to each charity including fundraising and onsite awareness and in addition, AEG staff will be offered volunteering opportunities to help the incredible work the charities do.

Accessibility

The O2 is fully accessible. In 2018, The O2 received Attitude is Everything’s Gold Standard, a Charter of Best Practice across the UK for deaf and disabled people's access to live music. The charter has recently been updated, now with 112 areas that need to be assessed to obtain a gold award. The O2 arena is continuously improving accessibility; going beyond obligation to provide fair and equal service to deaf and disabled visitors.
